A Little Interuption

Today while doing quests, I just found this amusing
so I Screen captured it for you to see heheh!
I noticed that this Blue Rackuf Baby has a different color than the others lol!
he is bluer than any of his kind hahah!
XD

Oh BTW! the OBT of this game is open only for:
Malaysia
Singapore
Thailand and
Vietnam
but don't worry (co's I'm worrying too lol) because, Asiasoft said
that in the first quarter of this year 2013  (January- March) they will open the game for
other SEA countries like Philippines.
I am really excited for the full operation of this game!! until now Asiasoft is doing their best
for the optimal game playing experience, so if the maintenance is way too long, be patient!
if it is ready for full operation the game will be smooth as silk!

Ragnarok II Legend of the Second SEA Class and Job General Guide

In this MMORPG, the character Jobs have split into two categories, a Class as the main job and
the job itself or also known as profession.
There are five Classes:
The Swordsman

The Magician

The Archer

The Thief

The Acolyte
And also there are four Jobs to choose aside from choosing your preferred class.

The Chef

The Alchemist

The Blacksmith

The Artisan
Each Job has a guardian, at a certain level from where I read it, each job can summon their Guardians..
they are.
Chef's Guardian: Demeter
Description link: Chef Profession
Alchemist Guardian: Hohenheim
Description Link: Alchemist Profession
Blacksmith Guardian: Vulcan
Description Link: Blacksmith Profession
Artisan Guardian: Veriel
Description Link: Artisan Profession

Many people asked what is a good combination for classes whether Swordsman/Blacksmith,
Magician/Alchemist. In my point of view there is no perfect combination for that, It's how you
combine your class to your job, But this is a guide so I can say or from my observation some good combinations for Class/Jobs.

The Job description says how can you combine your class to your job,
Chef can provide health and SP rejuvenating food.
Alchemist can provide buffers.
Blacksmith can provide heavy weapons and armors.
Artisan can provide light weapons and armors.

Here are the combination which is for me (my observation) is a good combination.
Accordingly respectively by numbers.
Remember, One Job for each classification this is just a multiple answer for your questions lol!

For Swordsman
1.Blacksmith (being much recommended for swordsman)
2.Chef
3.Alchemist

For Magician
1.Artisan (Mostly recommended)
2.Chef
3.Alchemist
4.Blacksmith (the least for this class but a useful money maker for the job)

For Archer
1.Artisan (mostly recommended because of the runes)
2.Chef
3.Alchemist

For Thief
1.Alchemist (mostly recommended for buffs)
2.Artisan (aside for Alchemist this is also useful)
3.Blacksmith
4.Chef

For Acolyte
1.Artisan
2. Chef
3. Alcemist

Next post will be for each Class and Each Jobs...

Introduction (I guess?)

First thing's first!
This will be my new and first guide post in my blog and I just wanted to help
first time Ragnarok II gamers (like me) to have a smooth experience in Ragnarok II Sea.
Why I made a Guide like this?, It is because I too have the difficult time searching the net
for the guides and none of them simply suits what I searched for or none at all.

Now I will tell you the most questions asked form this game and answer them so they will not
be asked again lol!
1. What is Ragnarok II and is it Free to Play?
A.
Ragnarok II Legend of the Second is a 3D Online Game or Massively Multi-player Online Role- Playing Game (MMORPG), Made by Gravity Incorporate which is based in Korea.
OBT is free to play and still no notification if the full operational RoII will be Pay to Play, (Just enjoy it for now)
2. Why there is KRoII and RoII Sea?
A.
KRoII is simply Korean Ragnarok II that is served by Gravity Inc. in Korea
and RoII SEA is Ragnarok II which is "Served in South East Asia" by a company "AsiaSoft" that was given rigths to operate by Gravity Inc.
3. What can we see or expect from this game?
A.
- Well I guess new stuffs! Ragnarok II is a 3D revised version of Ragnarok Online by the same Company developer. In this game you will Expect New things, New Maps new map appearance, new monsters, new NPC, New Jobs and Job mapping, Simply to say All NEW!. (well there still the old ones just added more new things hehe!)
4. How can we play Ragnarok II?
If you are based from where the game is served and your P.C. passed the needed specs. then you can download them from their respective sites and install them to your computer.
Korean Raganrok II Site : Click me Korean Ro
Ragnarok II SEA site: Click me Ro II Sea
By the way, Ragnarok II SEA is still on OBT (OPEN Beta Test) when I play this game.
5. Are the Jobs in RoII is still like in its predecessor?
A
Yes and No, Unlike the first version, RoII's Avatar/character jobs are a little different,
Gravity changed the Jobs in this game, these Jobs are classified in two, "Class" as the main and "Job" or "profession" as the secondary.
(What!!? two jobs? Class and profession? how are they different and how do they work?)(<Side question lol)
Don't be hysterical just read, I am discussing them here, lol!.
6. What are Class and Jobs?
A.
Class is what they called the default or the main character jobs, there are five classes to chose
Swordsman
Magician
Archer
Acolyte
Thief
Job/Profession is the secondary and there are four jobs to choose.
Chef
Alchemist
Blacksmith
Artisan
The reason they are split into Class and jobs so that every player (unlike from the first version) can experience two kinds of abilities that a single avatar/character has.
I will discuss these Class and Jobs one by one in other posts that I will make.
7.Is there also a card system in this version of Ragnarok?
A.
Yes, there is still a card system, the developer changed the way on how to use the cards.
In Ragnarok On Line you put the cards with effects on weapons and equipments with slots you use (this denotes the use of the lower or un-slotted weapons and equipments),
But in RoII you will put the cards directly on your Character Card Slots (yes, they put card slots
directly on your character). The Developers removed the effects on the cards but instead, they put status increases to the cards, they say in this way, a character/player can still use lower weapons and equipments even if the character level is higher than of the weapon or equipment.  (more in dept discussion about this will be posted).
8.What about the weapons and equipments?
A.
well the names and look of the weapons and equipments are changed but still can be useful even your level is greater that of the weapon's or equipment's required level. but you still need new weapons and equipment in each level increase lol!.
9.What about the Interface or the controls?
A.
Different Interface and new flexible controls,
they put new and detailed interfaces for easy usage (User friendly I guess lol!)
bag is more spacious, with a basic bag that is large and you can add Three MORE!!
I repeat! THREE MORE!! developers made it this way so that the player can store more and sell more!!
and will discuss about this even further in a different posts :)
Control is much different, you will have to use your Keypad more than of the mouse.
this is really convenient because the developers are really concern about the stress that a game can cause on the mouse, (in dept discussion in a different post again!)
10. (and I hope the last lol) How can I level easily in this game?
A. The developers recommends to kill monters around 2 levels lesser and 1 level higher than your character
in this way, you can level without the stress! because when the monster's level is way greater than your character and you killed it, you can receive a right amount of experience (i mean level required experience)
and if your level is way higher than of the monster, less experience than of regular is received.
the developers also recommends to do quests for greater experience and faster leveling. Simply that!
no place/ spot to conquer and no spot is a very good spot while leveling, free for all!

Well I guess I've discussed all the common Questions of our lovely players and answered it all
I hope you all are satisfied for this and stay tuned for more Guide posts!!
